Rachael Prest Editing: Brand & Web Design
The Client:
Rachael Prest is an editor working with publishers, independent authors, and knitting and crochet pattern designers. Her work focuses on clarity, quality, and size inclusivity, particularly in garment grading.
Service:
Brand Design, Web Design
The Challenge:
Rachael felt her existing branding lacked any real spark and didn’t represent her or the quality of her work. She needed a visual identity that felt clearer, more confident, and reflective of her personality, while still maintaining professionalism.
The Outcome:
The final identity brings together a vibrant, clean and fun aesthetic, balancing clarity with personality. The result is a brand that feels more aligned with Rachael and gives her a strong, recognisable presence across her work.
“I knew I wanted to work with Leyla when I saw some of her past work on her website. I loved the playfulness of some of the designs, which captured the essence of the companies she worked with and created really clean, identifiable branding. I wanted that for myself. My old branding lacked any spark and didn’t really represent me, so I absolutely love the new branding — it’s vibrant, clean and fun.
I found the process really easy. I didn’t have any real changes to make to the initial submission — I thought Leyla nailed it pretty much straight away.
She is professional, friendly and made me feel as if I was in good hands, and she guided me through the process really smoothly. The materials provided are excellent and easy to use. I’m so glad I decided to work with Leyla.”
