Terms and conditions: Brand kits

 

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases of semi-custom brand kits and related add-ons from me, Leyla Alexander Design. By purchasing a brand kit or add-on, you (“you,” “the client”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.


1. DIGITAL PRODUCTS & REFUNDS

  • All brand kits and add-ons are digital products.

  • Because of the digital and semi-custom nature of the work, all sales are final and no refunds will be offered.

  • Once your order is placed and payment received, work will begin based on your chosen kit and questionnaire responses.

2. PAYMENT

  • Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.

  • Prices are stated in GBP (£) and may be subject to change without notice.

  • Your order is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

3. WHAT’S INCLUDED

Each brand kit includes:

  • Full logo suite (main logo, alternate, submark)

  • Custom colour palette

  • Typography pairing

  • Supporting brand elements (varies by kit)

  • Brand style sheet

  • One round of revisions

Any add-ons (such as social media templates, business cards, or designer-for-a-day sessions) must be purchased separately.

4. CUSTOMISATION AND REVISIONS

Each kit can be customised with your business name, tagline, and colour palette.

  • Some supporting elements (such as patterns or sticker copy) may also be customised, depending on the kit.

  • One round of revisions is included. Additional revisions will be charged at £75 per round.

  • Revisions may include:

    • Alignment changes

    • Secondary font changes

    • Colour palette adjustments

    • Sticker copy changes (where applicable)

  • Revisions do not include:

    • New logo designs or elements

    • Additional custom design work beyond the scope of the kit

5. FONTS AND LICENSING

Font licenses or font files are not included due to licensing laws.

  • You must purchase the required licenses separately.

  • Links to fonts will be provided. Most fonts are open source (free) or carry an affordable one-time fee (typically £10–£30 each).

6. DELIVERY

  • Once your order is placed and questionnaire completed, your brand kit will be customised and delivered within 2–3 weeks.

  • Files will be delivered digitally via email or file transfer (e.g., WeTransfer).

  • Final files are provided in standard formats suitable for web and print.

7. USAGE RIGHTS

  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the customised brand kit for your own business.

  • You may not:

    • Resell, redistribute, or share the designs in any form

    • Claim authorship or design credit for the original kit design

  • All copyright remains with Leyla Alexander Design.

8. EXCLUSIVITY

  • Each kit will be sold a maximum of 5 times unless otherwise stated.

  • If you wish to purchase full exclusivity (so your kit is not sold again), you may upgrade for £1800 provided the kit has not already been purchased by another client.

9. ADD-ONS

  • Add-ons are optional extras designed to help roll out your brand consistently.

  • Add-ons must be purchased separately unless otherwise stated.

  • Add-on terms (such as timelines for Designer for a Day) will be confirmed at the time of booking.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • I cannot guarantee any specific business outcome (such as increased sales or clients) from using your brand kit.

  • My liability is limited to the total amount paid for your kit.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

  • These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version applicable to your purchase will be the one published at the time of your order.
